‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ was another time one of the protagonist of the sport mood at this edition of Pitti Uomo 2015.
Tuesday 13 January, the GazzaLook Lounge , an exclusive area in the Cortile Polveriera, near the Padiglione Centrale, completely dedicated to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ , was the stage in which the protagonists of fashion met to discover the world of ‘the Gazzetta’, a multimedia publishing platform that was able to offer the best communication opportunities thanks to the young male target that recognizes itself in the value of passion–not just for sport.
In the context of GazzaLook Lounge , took place the presentation of the new jerseys for the Giro d’Italia 2015. An event dedicated to the sponsors and the group’s reference journalists, in which was introduced for the first time the new Pink Jersey for 2015, the symbol par excellence of the values of this Italian cycle race, a 21-stage adventure that sees its true essence in its cyclists, their effort and emotion.
The other Blue, Red and White jerseys of the Giro d’Italia 2015 were announced by the female guest of honour , the ex ‘Miss Italia’ Cristina Chiabotto.
Moreover, as for past editions, the coolest garments at the Florentine fair received an award through an online competition. The 3 items which receive the highest number of votes on www.gazzetta.it had the opportunity to win the GazzaLook Lettori award: a panel of stylists chose the 10 garments on which the GazzaLook award was bestowed. Furthermore there was also a special “Sportlife” critics’ award for the garment that best interprets the spirit of Pitti.
All the items of clothing from the winning brands were placed on display and the awards was
presented at the GazzaLook Lounge on Wednesday afternoon.
We point out as well the charity initiative “Gazzetta Social Walking” in full harmony with the mood of this edition “Walkabout Pitti“: Gazzetta, indeed, made a donation of 1 Euro based on the kilometres travelled by the visitors of Pitti Immagine Uomo that can walk on special treadmills located in different areas of the Fortezza and supplied by Technogym.
A relationship, that between sport and fashion, that we were glad to see again at the ‘Pitti’ of this year. Numerous initiatives, also humanitarian, determine a new style that goes beyond the simple men clothing. And this is a good occasion to promote charity campaign in such an international fashion context as Pitti Immagine Uomo.
